A few words about my approach

  • What if you have everything you need inside to do well in life?  That there is a major life hack that can help you to see this and that once you truly get this, your life transforms.
  • On your journey to get there, you will see incremental improvements. You will do this through gaining ‘insights’ into how you think about and experience aspects of your life and once you see what you have been doing and thinking, change happens naturally.
  • This is not psychotherapy, or counselling, it’s a form of coaching. We together explore how you are using your thinking to create, unintentionally, certain outcomes that do not serve you.  We will challenge certain belief systems and habitual thinking patterns you are operating with, to bring them to the surface so you see and gain ‘insights’ about those patterns.
  • Once you shine a light on these patterns with ‘insightthey change.
  • The human system is amazing at creating shortcuts to deal with life, and we pick them up from all over the place, family, friends, the media, the internet etc. We don’t even realise we are doing it, so we can’t choose them. We operate with them for the rest of our lives, unless we realise these patterns are there and can see them for what they actually are - shortcuts to deal with life that aren't serving us.
  • I work with kids and young people with the iheart programme which is designed for 9 - 18 year olds with two different curriculums depending on the age of the child/young person concerned. I also work with adults with one to one coaching and in groups.

A few words about my background

  • I think it's important that you know a bit more about me so you understand how I came to be doing this and why I know it can work for you?
  • I lived the first 3/4 of my life battling constant anxiety and depression. I always new there was an answer but it took me long time to find it.
  • Finally I discovered a new understanding around our thoughts and feelings and how they together create our understanding of life. It was such a simple idea and it didn’t involve forcing change through willpower, rather the focus was on gaining insights around how I was creating my experience of life.
  • My life lined up in a way that enabled me to attend coach and trainer training with Jamie Smart in London with his Clarity approach.
  • I followed that up with training as an iheart facilitator and tutor.
  • Both approaches have been developed from the same understanding about how our experience of life is created.
